After spending almost a decade being the go-to sunless tanning provider of pageant girls, top models, country music stars and Hollywood royalty, I was ready to take my brand in a new direction. I created a sunless tanning spray that is high-quality, easy-to-apply and a SHADE that works on every skin tone!
I wanted the new branding to be more edgy and also reflective of my true love and passion, The Arts. So I approached my friend and client Brittney Palmer about partnering on the new product line and she loved the idea. On top of being a veteran UFC octagon girl and an accomplished cover model, Brittney is a very talented artist who paints famous abstract faces. She specializes in rock legends, which is why I have always been drawn to her work. We ended up using one of my favorite paintings of hers called, “I Promise” for the can of the first product in our line, SHADE Self-Tanner.
Brittney and I complement each other well. We share a love for art, music, beauty and travel and this is what BOLD Sunless is about. Our spontaneous personalities actually led us to closing our business deal in Paris. After our initial meeting she said, “Hey I am going to Paris Fashion Week, want to go?” A week later we were touring art galleries and the old stomping grounds of Pablo Picasso in the City of Light. We knew that this was the beginning of a beautiful partnership as well as a product line that we are just getting started on. The Miss USA contestants were the first to experience SHADE Self-Tanner and we were thrilled to see them glow on stage on FOX!
